Role Overview:
The Welding/NDT Field Engineer is responsible for quality surveillance of mechanical construction activities on a nuclear construction project, ensuring contractor works comply with approved technical requirements, specifications, and quality control plans. The role covers fabrication, installation, and assembly of piping systems, equipment, and supports within a nuclear environment. Working within the Site Quality Surveillance Team, the engineer provides independent verification of work quality, identifies and reports non-conformances, and ensures issues are managed through formal processes.
