Job Description

Chemical Engineering Technician (Solvent Recovery)
  • Location: Tuas
  • Company transport / transport allowance: $120 if candidate travels to work by themselves.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm); Shift work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)
  • Basic salary: $1,900 – $2,700, with overtime/shift work allowances. Sign‑on bonus (terms & conditions apply).
Requirements
  • Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, internet research).
  • Able to perform overtime/shift work.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor the distillation process plant to convert spent waste material into product.
  • Ensure the plant operates within safe parameters and maintain safety of transfer of flammable materials.
