A fantastic Special Needs School in Trowbridge are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. In this role, you will work closely with one child who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, as well as other associated additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate or Teaching Assistant/Carer looking to further their experience with SEND.
As a 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the student, helping them engage in classroom activities and develop their independence. You will help the student build positive relationships with other pupils, and aid them with both their verbal and non-verbal communication.
