Salary and Benefits: According to the provincial salary grid ( plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.
Qualifications
- Saskatchewan Professional Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum, environment and assessment
- Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently
The Preferred Candidate will have
- Familiarity and experience with Northern issues
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
