To justify, perform and report ultrasound examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service in order to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
To provide diagnostic reports in obstetric, gynaecological, early pregnancy, vascular, general, musculo-skeletal and small parts ultrasound.
Supervise and act as mentor to trainee sonographers ensuring continuity of service.
