Position Summary
Department seeks qualified candidate(s) to teach undergraduate courses in ASL‑English Interpreting or other classes identified as needed to fulfill educational goals of current students.
Instructor Responsibility
Temporary faculty members must adhere to university and system‑wide policies per Academic Policy Manual 306, paragraph 2. Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, conducting, proctoring, and grading lectures, office hours, homework assignments, quizzes, class projects, and midterm and final exams. All classes must be offered and meet as scheduled throughout the semester in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid). Availability to begin teaching on short notice is required.
Temporary Faculty Pool
Positions are filled as needed based on enrollment and funding. The pool remains for two academic terms; candidates wishing to remain beyond that must reapply.
