Assignment: Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant and Librarian position Librarian 0.50 FTE, Educational Assistant 0.50 FTE Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year To provide support and assistance to students in a junior high classroom setting in addition to Librarian duties Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience and/or training as a Librarian would be considered an asset Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment Flexibility to work in a variety of programs Experience and/or training as an Educational AssistantThe ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a love for reading, supporting curriculum needs, and enhancing the learning environment for students and staffAbility to support literacy and numeracy Calm and patient approach to solving problems Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience.
