Primary Purpose
Perform professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, consultation, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and behavioral problems. Select and administer assessments and observations to evaluate the intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning of referred students. Determine student eligibility for special education services according to federal and state regulations. Develop emotional/behavioral reports and behavior interventions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree, specialist degree or doctoral degree in related field
- Valid license as a school psychologist from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)
