Job Description

Role Overview

Long Term Occasional Teacher – Geography – 1 section at Westside SS, September 2, 2026 – February 2, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher.
  • Support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Geography.
  • Registered as a teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Teaching experience and QECO rating as outlined in the posting.
  • Minimum of two professional supervisory references, including at least one from current Principal or Vice‑Principal.

Compensation

$59,300.82 – $119,670.49 per annum; salary grid rate based on QECO rating and teaching experience, prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2025.
