Body D&R; EngineerResponsibilitiesEngineer, design and develop production release for Body-in-White (BIW) functions, including:Body closure sheet metal and hingingFascia / bumperUnderbody shield and wheel linersCladding & flaresBody exterior elements (moldings, badges, decals and vents)Front lighting and electrical & signal lightingFixed glass, wipers, fuel door components and associated systemsLead the process from initial design concept through full volume productionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent3‐4 years automotive component engineering experience with BIW, closures, or exterior systemsProficiency in CAD tools: Unigraphics NX, CATIA V5, and TeamcenterKnowledge of high‐strength steel/aluminum forming, welding parameters and GD&T;Experience with OEM or supplier design releaseKnowledge of DFMEA, Design Verification Plan & Report, and validation plansCreation and editing of BoMsExperience with composites and composite production pr...
