Academic Coordinator, Psychology
Part‑time (0.2 FTE) term position ending November 1, 2027.
Responsibilities
Oversee teaching, administration and maintenance for the following courses:
- PSYC 304 – Research Methods in Psychology
- PSYC 379 – Social Psychology
- PSYC 315 – Psychology and the Mass Media
- PSYC 340 – Applied Social Psychology
- PSYC 432 – Psychology and the Built Environment
Additional duties include:
- Supervise and monitor course tutors (teaching and marking student assignments)
- Handle student issues (grade appeals, academic misconduct, transfer credit requests, accommodations for students with disabilities, etc.)
- Provide service to the Centre for Social Sciences (attend meetings held by the Centre and by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences)
