Review and approve new A&H business within your authority. Escalate larger cases as needed and ensure all underwriting meets company and audit standards.Set and communicate clear underwriting policies, procedures, and quality standards for the team.Work closely with sales and marketing to renew accounts, launch campaigns, and develop new products that meet market needs.Oversee loss control, quality control, pricing, catastrophe management, and portfolio planning to drive profitability.Mentor and train underwriters, fostering technical skills and customer focus.Ensure smooth information flow with Finance, Claims, and other departments.Help launch and maintain products, including rating, form development, regulatory filings, and marketing coordination.Bachelor’s Degree in insurance or related fields (master’s degree preferred)Solid proficiency of underwriting and insurance industry theories and practiceM...
