Job Description
As an Accountant you will participate in accounting month end and year end activities. Ensure accuracy of finance information according to US GAAP and Spanish GAAP. Comply demanding deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Review monthly balance sheet and prepare quarterly BS account reconciliations.
- Accruals and prepayment calculation and posting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Corporate.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts.
- Fulfil and submit tax forms (VAT + Intrastat + Income taxes).
- Coordinate external auditors.
- Prepare intercompany transaction details on an annual basis.
- Reply to specific requests from local tax authorities.
- Active coordination with shared service centers.
- Active participation to implement finance projects in Iberia region (LEI, ERPS, etc.).
- Active participation in planning process.
