Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and supporting audit requirements in line with UAE regulations. The role involves handling General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, bank reconciliations, invoice verification, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Verification of Office and Other Expenses
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations.
VAT & UAE Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE VAT Law
- Handle input/output VAT, reverse charge mechanism, and zero-rated exports
- Maintain proper VAT documentation for audits
