Job Description
THOR Solutions is actively seeking an experienced Mid-Level Accountant (Accounts Receivable & General Ledger) to provide full-time support in Virginia Beach, VA.
Typical Responsibilities: The candidate’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:
+ Generate and review customer invoices in Unanet (or similar ERP), including cost-plus, T&M, and fixed-price contract billing.
+ Monitor AR aging, follow up on outstanding receivables, and ensure timely collections.
+ Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
+ Process cash receipts and apply payments accurately.
+ Prepare and submit invoices through government portals (WAWF, IPP) as required.
+ Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
