Job Opportunity: Junior Accountant
A company based in Edenvale is searching for a driven junior accountant to join our dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Calculate material requirements for products to be manufactured.
- Carry out the necessary research on materials.
- Create new product codes, load all material requirements, and create relevant documents per item (e.g. Job cards).
- Ensure all costs of materials are up to date.
- Assist with client quotations and generate WO.
- Ensure creditors information is kept up to date and reconciled.
- Follow up on debtors.
- Knowledge of VIP payroll.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3 - 4 years experience with Pastel Evolution.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel formulas.
