Accountant Position
Your client, an accounting firm, is currently seeking the services of an Accountant to join their offices in Durbanville.
Duties & Responsibilities Performing customer accounts on Xero Preparation of monthly management accounts Preparation of annual financial statements Preparation of month-end and year-end reconciliations Liaising with customers regarding their business and assisting them in making financial decisions Management of annual audits (where applicable) Payroll processing Bi-annual employer reconciliations Workman’s compensation and RMA submissions Calculations of provisional tax and income tax (companies and individuals) Submissions of VAT201, EMP201, ITR14, ITR12, IRP6 Other administrative tasks Desired Experience & Qualification Accounting Degree Completed SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA articles Good understanding of financial accounting and taxation with practical experience with: SARS Systems and processes EMP501 reconciliations Provisional tax calculati...
