Job Description
The Accountant focuses mainly on month end closing, financial reporting and analysis, and ensuring alignment with the applicable accounting standards, company policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and ensure timely and accurate month end and year end close
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports and analyses
- Prepare journals and reconciliations in Sage X3 and/or Blackline
- Manage Fixed Assets accounting including capitalization, disposals, preparation of depreciation schedules and ensuring compliance with Fixed Assets policies and guidelines
- Assist with budgeting and cashflow forecast
- Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory accounts
- Review Finance workflows for improvements, to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls and compliance
