Accountant

The Accountant focuses mainly on month end closing, financial reporting and analysis, and ensuring alignment with the applicable accounting standards, company policies and best practices. Key responsibilities Deliver and ensure timely and accurate month end and year end close
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports and analyses
Prepare journals and reconciliations in Sage X3 and/or Blackline
Manage Fixed Assets accounting including capitalization, disposals, preparation of depreciation schedules and ensuring compliance with Fixed Assets policies and guidelines
Assist with budgeting and cashflow forecast
Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory accounts
Review Finance workflows for improvements, to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls and compliance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, regulatory requirements and internal policies
