Job Description
The Accountant duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Responsible for monthly closing activities for accounts including preparing, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of journal entries and timely preparation of the financial reports;
Review of accounts prepared by overseas appointed agency if any;
Review and handle GST submission;
Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit;
Prepare audit schedules and handling audit issues (if any);
Provide information to tax agent for tax filling of annual returns and tax enquiries;
Liaise with corporate secretary for preparing annual returns, resolutions and other corporate secretarial matters;
Liaise with bank on operational issues and lawyer on legal matters;
Reviewing legal documents and agreements in aspect of finance;
