Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at one of our entities within our NDT Services and Heat Treatment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function with a specific focus on project-based costing, job card administration, financial reporting, and supporting management in strategic financial decision-making. This is a hands‑on role suited to a proactive individual who thrives in a technical services environment. This role is based in the Vaal, in Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Job Card Accounting
- Manage and maintain accurate project cost accounting for all NDT and heat treatment jobs
- Open, track, and close job cards in coordination with operations and project managers
- Allocate costs (labour, materials, subcontractors, equipment) to relevant job cards
