Job Description
AnAccounting assistantsupports the accounting department by performing daily administrative and financial tasks. They help maintain accurate financial records, assist with bookkeeping, and ensure efficient operation of accounting processes.
Data Entry & Recordkeeping
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain and update accounting records and databases.
- File invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and check requests.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Prepare and schedule payments.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and send customer invoices.
- Record payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
