Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a team in Grand Rapids, Michigan on a Contract basis. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating purchase order activity, and assisting with payroll for an employee population of about 150. The role is well suited for someone who works carefully, communicates promptly, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and update financial information in accounting systems on a daily and monthly basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Monitor purchase orders, match supporting documentation, and reconcile related activity to keep records complete and current.
