Job Description
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role ensures timely processing of transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and proper financial reporting, particularly suited for the fast-paced F&B environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and record daily sales, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory-related transactions
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books
- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documents
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
