Job Description
As an Accounts Officer - Vessel at BSM you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of assigned vessels, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with maritime financial standards. This role is essential in maintaining financial transparency between ship and shore, supporting operational efficiency, and enabling informed decision‑making through reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Vessels’ Accounting Operation
- Executes all the accounting transactions of the assigned vessels, i.e. invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, etc., updating accordingly all the respective accounting ledgers, in order to assist in the effective monitoring of each vessel financial operation and compliance with the accounting rules and legislation.
