Role Overview
Acrive Antenna System Lead Engineer vacancy within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will join the Antenna System Design & Validation Spain team in charge of defining, designing and developing active and passive antennas primarily for space applications. The team is working on projects such as the SPAINSAT program for Spanish Defense and Galileo Antenna for navigation.
The Lead Engineer will define antenna concept optimisation, covering mechanical, thermal, electrical and radio‑frequency architecture. Responsibilities include proposing cost‑effective design optimisations, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting the project to deliver the best antenna design for the market.
