Job Description
Substance Abuse Counselor position available at the Glen Burnie opioid treatment program.
Competitive pay based on certification level and experience.
Program Hours are 5:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Applicants must be certified by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. Alcohol and Drug Trainees will also be considered for this position.
Compensation:$28 - $34
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing client case records ensure that their records meet relevant standards and quality assurance.
- Assist residents in developing their individualized treatment plan within 24 hours of intake
- Must be computer literate and preferably
- Write clinical case notes
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with clinical and administrative staff in a team environment
- Responsible for the completion of the bio-psycho-social assessment.
