About the Role
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites an experienced Addiction Specialist / Psychiatrist to become the Clinical Lead for Mental Health & Addiction services in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland). The role supports a small city and beach lifestyle while providing leadership and clinical expertise to a multidisciplinary team over the entire district from Wellsford to the North Cape.
The service includes Opioid Substance Treatment, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Te Ara Oranga – a multi‑agency programme that coordinates police, NGO and health services to address methamphetamine addiction.
