Addictions Practitioner - Te Poutama Tautoko
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Addictions Practitioner to provide culturally responsive alcohol and drug assessment, treatment, and counselling. You will work closely with whanau one on one and in group sessions and wananga. Working as a team with other AOD practitioners, you will share and collaborate your successes and challenges with weekly MDTs. This is a full‑time role Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, based at our large site in Hastings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting alcohol and drug assessments and creating personalised treatment plans
- Leading individual and group counselling sessions, workshops, and educational programmes
- Facilitating group therapy in a safe, collaborative space
