Position Summary
Adjunct Teaching Associates (part-time) at IMA provide comprehensive support to students in both foundation and capstone courses. They deliver academic guidance, technical assistance, and creative mentorship through structured recitations, regular office hours, studio sessions, and specialized help sessions. They also manage logistical and administrative aspects of these courses, ensuring smooth operation throughout the academic year.
Beyond the classroom, Adjunct Teaching Associates play a vital role in maintaining IMA's technical infrastructure and contributing to its scholarly community. Their responsibilities include organizing and supporting departmental events (workshops, exhibitions, guest lectures, the IMA Show, and Capstone Show), maintaining digital resources (websites and databases), and developing support systems that enhance student learning.
