Job Description
Arrange import shipments and coordinate customs clearance for goods arriving from China. Monitor and follow up on shipment status to ensure timely delivery. Respond to client enquiries regarding shipment progress and delivery timelines. Prepare detailed goods listings for clients based on packing lists received from the China factory. Issue Delivery Orders (DO) to clients and ensure accuracy of delivery documentation. Manage containers upon arrival at the warehouse, including unloading coordination and inventory checks. Arrange transportation such as trailers, lorry cranes, and other logistics support as required. Prepare and provide all necessary documents for customs clearance and regulatory compliance. Track and follow up on goods status with the China team to ensure smooth shipment flow. Liaise closely with the China factory regarding packing lists, cargo readiness, and container loading arrangements. Liaise daily with the China team to obtain and update clients' production lists. ...
