Job Description
OWL seeks CERTIFIED FIREFIGHTERS to serve as Lead Firefighters interested in pursuing training as a DPO (Driver Pump Operator) and/or an I/O (Incident Officer).
OWL Firefighters respond to various calls including residential, commercial, and outside fires, auto accidents, and HazMat incidents. In Prince William County, crews staffing fire apparatus are also dispatched to medical emergencies.
Preferred Applicant Certifications For Lead Firefighters
- Pro Board Firefighter I and II
- Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) MAYDAY or RIT
- VA EMT-B or higher
- Hazmat
- EVOC I, II and III
