Summary The Office of Administrative Law Judges (OALJ) is responsible for conducting adjudicatory hearings and issuing decisions for the Department of Labor under more than 80 different laws and executive orders. OALJ functions like a judicial court. Hearings are required to be conducted in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act, which requires the application of the principles of due process similar to civil cases heard in the courts. This position is Outside of the Bargaining Unit. Responsibilities Major Duties: Provides administrative services to the ALJ staff to include IT, supplies, procurement, budget and finance, human resources, safety and health, and travel. Provides information, analysis, advice, and recommendations on administrative matters to the DCJ.
