Job Description
We’re seeking experienced Adult Inpatient Psychiatrists to join a state-of-the-art private hospital in Melbourne, delivering evidence-based care across inpatient and day program services.
This role provides psychiatric assessment, treatment, and clinical leadership, ensuring patient-centred care. You will also:
Develop and oversee individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Prescribe and monitor pharmacological and psychological treatments in line with best practice. Participate in daily ward rounds, case reviews, and family meetings as required. Deliver psychotherapy interventions with a focus on ISTDP principles and methods. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals. About the service
