We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in South Wales, who are recruiting for an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their growing team on a 6 month (minimum) locum contract.
This is a full-time (37 hours per week) position with a negotiable hourly rate and the start date is subject to notice. This role can be completed on a fully remote basis.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Handling own caseload of Adult Social Care and Court of Protection matters, including care management and assessments, mental capacity, mental health, asylum, immigration and adult safeguarding
- Undertaking own advocacy and representing the Council at Court as required
