This position will be responsible for the evaluation and management of inpatient foregut patients. There will also be some component of bariatric and hernia patients as well. Furthermore, this individual will act as first or second assistant in some of the OR cases. This role will also cross-cover colorectal surgery as needed.
Summary:
A Physician Assistant functions as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients within the APPs scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician.
