Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) and the sole enlisted aircrew member, to perform aerial refueling technician duties on assigned missions and assist the pilot in the operation of the aircraft. This is a developmental position to the full performance position of CPD 76410, Aerial Refueling Technician (Instructor), GS-2185-10. GS-09 DUTIES: DUTY 1: Performs through-flight refueling aircrew duties. Checks forms for equipment status. Performs visual and operational check of air refueling and associated systems and equipment.
