Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Inspects, evaluates damage, and accomplishes repairs on assigned and transient aircraft and support Equipment.
+ Operates all associated ground support equipment and uses hand tools, special tools, fixtures and adhesives applicable to return aircraft to operational condition.
+ Evaluates, designs, and manufactures logistics improvement projects.
+ Research technical data and manufactures structural components, cables, and tubing assemblies.
+ Uses maintenance instructions and technical data in the inspection, and repair of assigned aircraft and associated equipment.
+ Performs on and off equipment maintenance to do advanced aircraft composite repairs.
+ Uses maintenance drawings and blueprints to accomplish repairs on assigned equipment.
+ Performs aircraft and equipment corrosion inspections.
+ Evaluates aircraft and equipment for paint requirements.
