Responsibilities
- Understanding of how aircraft works (Aerodynamic)
- Important of Aircraft Control surface, Antenna, Pitot Static port if damage by sanding or paint.
- Aircraft part that do and DO NOT paint Eg Altimeter. Pitot static port
- Type of paint used on aircraft and aircraft parts. Eg Teflon paint, Anti-static paint for radome etc.
- Understanding Paint TDS and MSDS
- Importance of Fuselage scribe / scrap mark that may damage to the aircraft during removal of sealant. Only use approved type for sealant removal tools.
- Type of aircraft structure. Eg Aluminium and composite prior to painting.
- The Safety requirement in Hangar. PPE and aircraft safety
- Understanding the type of Equipment work and function. Eg Spray gun and sanding tools.
- Able to maintain the Equipment in good condition
