Job Description
The Structural Repair Engineer is responsible for ensuring the timely return-to-service of commercial aircraft by delivering optimal structural repair solutions that meet airworthiness standards, minimize maintenance costs, and uphold safety. This role involves design and/or stress analysis, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Required : 6+ years
Key Responsibilities:
Repair Assessment & Solution Development
Assess damage scenarios using appropriate inputs and aircraft configuration drawings Perform hand calculations and/or computer-based analysis Propose and evaluate structural repair solutions considering time, cost, and safety Utilize existing technical and airworthiness delegations to develop approved repairs for aerostructures (Pylon / NCF/ FAF/ Highlift/ RFE)Stakeholder Collaboration
