Key Accountabilities
Freight Process Management:
- Oversee customer service, documentation, operational processes, execution, procurement, and transportation arrangements.
- Monitor and manage warehouse receiving activities and inventory levels.
Communication:
- Coordinate with customers, co-loaders, overseas offices, agents, transport providers, and vendors.
- Issue pre-alerts and manage shipment pickups, deliveries, and status updates.
Shipment Registration and Documentation:
- Ensure accurate and timely entry and updates of shipment details in the CargoWise system.
Payment and Invoicing:
- Process billing in CargoWise, ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and issued promptly to payors.
- Review and validate vendor invoices and follow up on any discrepancies.
Sales Support and Reporting:
