Job Description
The Air Freight Operations Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end air freight process, including export, import, transshipment, and cross-trade shipments. This role ensures timely and accurate documentation, communication, and coordination with stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Key Accountabilities: Freight Process Management: Oversee customer service, documentation, operational processes, execution, procurement, and transportation arrangements. Monitor and manage warehouse receiving activities and inventory levels. Communication: Coordinate with customers, co-loaders, overseas offices, agents, transport providers, and vendors. Issue pre-alerts and manage shipment pickups, deliveries, and status updates. Shipment Registration and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely entry and updates of shipment details in the CargoWise system. Payment and Invoicing: Process billing in CargoWise, ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and issued promptly to payors. ...
