About the Role
The Critical Care Expansion Programme provided funding to
support and increase Allied Health (AH) workforce capacity and capability
within critical care settings, by funding Educators for Allied Health
professions, within Te Waipounamu.
The AH Critical Care Educator roles work in partnership with
other critical care educators to provide wrap around support for the AH
workforce across the region.
They support the critical care AH workforce with the
clinical demand and complexity of their work, particularly new graduates,
practitioners returning to practice, newly employed internationally qualified
