Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an AM Sorter to join their team. As an AM Sorter, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Sorting Team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively within a team, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: AM Sorter
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Pay Range: $18 an hour
Shift: Monday to Friday 3:00am to 8:15am
What's the Job?
- Unloading and sorting freight efficiently and accurately
- Preloading up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belts
- Scanning, cubing, and reweighting packages to ensure proper handling
- Building positive relationships with team members including couriers, lead hands, and sorters
