Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties (Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Elective, Gynaecology, Breast, Minor Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology).
- Work cohesively with multidisciplinary teams in Recovery and Scrub.
- Maintain evidence of continuing professional development.
- Adapt to shift and weekend work across all sites in Fife.
- Participate in a robust induction program led by Clinical Educators and an Education Coordinator.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
- Experience as an anaesthetic nurse with additional scrub or recovery experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
