Responsibilities
- Review inbound deal flow
- Generate deal flow
- Support the execution of transactions, including both internal and third‑party due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and transaction documentation
- Track sourcing activities and pipeline of new investment opportunities
- Assess investment opportunities, conduct initial due diligence, provide analysis, and prepare investment memos or present at the investment committee
- Generate ideas and lead analysis
Marketing and inbound investor leads management
- Oversee marketing; assist in newsletters and more
Trading
- Evaluate portfolio positions
- Write portfolio updates and research reports; travel to conferences and speak with industry insiders
- Contribute to and occasionally write other issues for Empire's paid products
