Analyst I is responsible for providing basic technical support and analysis of Cosmetics products within the Microbiology Testing Laboratory. This is a deadline-based, high-pressure work environment with on-going projects for a variety of clients.
The incumbent is responsible for:
Perform the maintenance and usage of equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Prepare media based on manufacturer instructions; execute the growth promotion tests for all prepared media.Collect plates/tubes/bags and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature.Perform Microbial Limit testing using EP/BP/USP method for samples.Check the inventory of supplied materials. Inform microbiology lab supervisor for the requirement of materials. Receive & arrange the supplies.Perform Environmental monitoring of Micro lab.Sample preparation.Serial dilution...
