Job Description
What the role is:
You oversee the maintenance of computing and networking infrastructure housed in the Cyber Evaluation Test and Experimentation Centre (CyTEC).
What you will be working on:- Assist in building IT aspects of exercise networks and cyber defence toolsets for CyTEC training programmes
- Serve as the main technical expert in building virtual networks using hypervisor and virtualisation solutions
- Integrate virtual networks with operational technology testbeds, prototypes, and digital twins to create comprehensive training environments
- Enable expedient development of relevant training networks when new operational needs arise
- Create and maintain realistic training environments that simulate the complexities of defending IT systems in operational contexts
