Job Summary:
To clean, prepare for sterilization, assemble, store and dispense and maintain equipment and supplies for the anesthesia department. Assist in direct patient care under direct supervision of physicians or allied health personnel.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws. 1. Assembles basic anesthesia set up. 2. Assembles basic anesthesia equipment and turnover. 3. Provides supplies needed for general/regional anesthesia. 4. Prepares anesthesia procedure trays as requested. 5. Removes and disposes all supplies and equipment following procedures performed by anesthesia providers. 6. Maintains adequate stock of supplies in anesthesia machines and carts, including rotation and replacement of dated items. 7. Maintains adequate stock of supplies in emergency code blue boxes, malignant hyperthermia carts, difficult intubation car...
