Job Description
The Interim Permanent Physician Assignment in Alaska
-Location: Anchorage, AK
-Duration: October and ongoing
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1-4 weeks per month (minimum of 1 week per month)
Shift: cases start at 7:30a-3:30pm
Call: Not required
Scope: OB, ENT, NEURO, ORTHO, GENERAL, Trauma, PEDS (not required if provider doesn t see peds), some cardio but zero thoracic. Some Supervision of CRNA s but not required as the CRNA s are independent but some cases require the Anesthesiologist to sign off on the CRNA.
EMR: Cerner now
Hospital: 176 bed, Level II trauma center. 11 ORS, 4 endoscopy rooms, additional 4 rooms, and 2 OB rooms
